At PCI Technology we are concerned about the condition of our environment.

As a business and as individuals we believe it is critical to consider how our actions affect the Earth, now and for future generations.

We have been working for the past 10 years to reduce and eliminate our waste by recycling and reusing whenever possible. We purchase Fair Trade products that are produced using sustainable and zero waste methods. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products, and we do not use non-organic pesticides or fertilizers.

We are working every day to reduce our carbon footprint. We use composting and on-demand water systems, and will be adding solar electricity to our new offices. We are replacing our gas vehicles with hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles. And now our web pages are hosted using 100% wind energy!

We thank those who are also 'going green,' and we invite those who have not yet begun to start today.

At PCI Technology, we service all brands of desktop and notebook computers, and have extensive experience with a wide variety of software and hardware. Our services include developing customized business process applications for finance, inventory and human resources.

We also sponsor a non-profit initiative to reduce, reuse, and recycle technology items. This includes:

finding new uses and homes for technology related items that have not reached the end of their life

promoting public awareness of the toxic nature of some technology components

properly disposing of technology products to minimize their impact on the environment and our health

pushing for stronger legislation to regulate technology related materials and components which adversely impact the environment and consumer health.

We will be updating our consumer awareness links periodically with interesting articles to help the community make sound choices when purchasing and using technology.

Coming Events:

PCI Technology is becoming Ecosphere Technology. We want to promote our values through our name. So starting in October of 2009 we will be changing our name to better describe our business model and practices. Our new website will be available to the public soon and can be accessed starting October 1,2009 at www.ecospheretechnology.com . Our current website will continue to operate until January of 2010, and all new traffic after 1 October will be redirected to the new site automatically.

Also beginning in October of 2009 we will make many of our items available for immediate purchase on the site. This is in response to some of our regular customers who prefer to purchase immediately and with a shopping cart rather than using the single item purchase style available through our eBay presence. Our current plan includes shopping cart checkout through PayPal to protect the financial information of our customers.
